The Corum Bubble GMT Gents Watch is powered by an automatic movement which means the winding of the spring occurs automatically when the wearer moves his/her arm. However, it is recommended that you manually wind the watch at least once every two weeks. It is also important to adjust the time once a month as automatic movement can gain or lose a few minutes per month.

The Corum Bubble GMT Gents Watch has a screw-down crown for setting the time. Screw-down crowns create a stronger seal against the case than a push-and-pull knob, giving the watch a greater water resistance factor. To unscrew the crown, grasp the knob and turn it counter-clockwise (towards you) a number of times until it releases. Then pull or push the crown into position to set the time, date, and other functions. To close the crown, press it against the case while turning in a clockwise direction.

“I own the Corum Bubble GMT Gents Watch with the leather band because it gives it a more worldly look. This is a handsome piece. Very simple, yet beautifully designed. The GMT 24 hr marker bezel is not adjustable like most GMT watches, but it is not really necessary. Adjusting the second time zone is a cinch, simply unscrew crown and move one notch out. Opposite direction adjusts the date. The bubble crystal really goes with the world map on the face and gives it a globe effect! Nice big second time zone hand is easily visible but unfortunately not in the dark. Butterfly clasp very efficient and easily adjustable. Get it with automatic movement so you never have to change the battery and admire see-thru back. Water resistant up to 660 ft/200 m. Leather band is party rubber for good durability if you do dive with watch but why would you do that?”
